On Sunday Bulls247 got confirmation that USF landed it’s second commitment of the weekend. Miami (Fla.) four-star defensive back Lamar Robbins informed the staff he was committing.
Robbins, a 6-foot-3, 188-pound prospect shines on both sides of the ball for Southridge high school. Robbins is ranked as the 14th best athlete, 35th best player in Florida and he’s ranked as the 237th best overall recruit in the country.
Robbins is an explosive receiver and a rangy safety prospect, that has the versatility to play nearly every position in the defensive backfield. The Bulls recruited Robbins as a cornerback, he said via text. The Miami product still needs to add weight to his 6-3 frame, but overall he’s a huge pickup for Willie Taggart and the new USF staff.
We’ll have more with Robbins later in the day.
