South Florida landed a commitment from Kissisimmee (Fla.) Osceola running back Stafon McCray during an official visit today. First reported by the Orlando Sentinel, McCray later confirmed with Chris Nee that he committed to the Bulls during his visit.
McCray joins high school teammate Hasaan Childs, who committed to USF on Jan. 20. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound McCray chose the Bulls over offers from Kentucky and Cincinnati, among others.
McCray rushed for over 3,000 yards and 45 touchdowns during his junior and senior seasons at Osceola.
247Sports.com ranks McCray as the No. 66 running back in his class and No. 139 prospect overall in the Sunshine State.
