If we don't hire an OC, shouldn't we take that extra cash and get a proven DC, like a Shannon, instead of a guy with no DC experience at all.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Taggart hand out running game and passing game coordinator titles to assistant coaches of moderate experience while still keeping playcalling and OC duties largely for himself. Was that what he did at WKU?
