3 Local Prospects Earn Invites to The Opening

  • The Opening is THE premier event of the year. It's held in early July on the campus of Nike in Eugene, Oregon.

    Last year VH3, Leon McQuay, Travis Johnson, Alvin Bailey and Jordan Sherit were invited.

    This year three prospects from the area have earned offers - DB Kyle Gibson and Artavis Scott earned invites from yesterdays Orlando Camp. Today Isaiah Wynn went down to Miami and was one of 7 prospects to earn an invite. There were about 250 kids at the Orlando camp and nearly 300 at the Miami camp.

  • And where does USF stand with any of these guys? Sorry if it's been mentioned. There are just too many names at this point to keep track of.

  • Wynn apparently calls us his "dream school" but then doesn't list us in his top schools. Scott is a Team Tampa member, I think Josh could give us a better idea. And I'm not sure about Gibson.
