Huge PR hit. Everyone in the Tampa area is talking about us getting left off. Tried to throw his fathers school a bone by saying he was still considering but we know we're out of it. Sigh, it's not easy being green.
This damn football season better hurry up. I'm only used to being let down in October not in July......

I think you're all overreacting a bit. Is it disappointing to not be in his top five? Sure. Did his comments feel like he is throwing his dad a bone? Yeh, a little. Have his recent comments proven that he's very wide open and perhaps a bit prone to changing his mind a lot right now? Also yes. So chill out and let it play out until it's played out.

I think VH3 really likes USF but winning is very important to him (and it should be) so i think that if USF has a great year, then our chances increase.

Some of these schools on his list don't strike me as winning much the last few years, including excluded USF. USF for one better change that this year! I mean Clemson had a good year last year, but got throttled their last two bowl games.
I would understand it more if he said winning means a lot to him and then chose alabama.
I guess his dad doesn't use the Holtz line that we were a few pts away from a 9 or 10 win season. :)
I have to think he doesn't plan on coming here. If he was going to, why not just commit now and start helping to bring in recruits. It seems pretty sure the staff will be here at least a few more years, perhaps thats his biggest concern, picking USF with the chance that his dad may move on with Skip to a new job during his college career.

Exactly on both frionts. Florida is the only consistant decent winner of the bunch and they were pretty bad last year. If he cared about USF he would be recruiting his boys here. Instead it looks like we won't land a single Team Tampa guy.
