Love seeing the BYE before Louisville and Miami. But sucks that we don't have a bye till week 7. Hopefully we stay healthy early

If we have to have a Thursday nighter, I'm glad it will be in September... 7pm in early Sept is better than noon... which is what it'll be if it stays on Saturday.

I'm not sure if anyone else remembers this, pretty sure everyone should, but it was a Thursday Night Game in 2007 against Rutgers that started our freefall that season. I'm not a huge fan of USF playing on a short week, traveling back from Nevada, against Rutgers on Thursday night. I'd take the Saturday noon game with more prep over a Thursday night game with little prep any day of the week, add in that its against Rutgers and I'm even more inclined to have it on Saturday.

Playing on the Thursday right after we go to Nevada (where we may arrive back in Tampa sometime on Sunday) for a conference game is not a good recipe.
It's our own fault though. We knew where the holes were in our schedule and we know what our Conference TV deal states.
