  • Any predictions on how Scott will do in the combine? 40 time, Bench, etc..

  • He'd be the best hurdler if that had that event

  • Just to see how far or close these shots in the dark will fall.

    Broad- 9'
    Can't think of anything else.

  • think his 40 time will be in the high 4.5s, vert 30, bench 25

  • The real question is how much will he weigh?? If he's still 240 and out of shape then he'll be closer to a 4.7 than a 4.5... He was slow as dirt and couldn't break a run to save his life in conference play. If he gets his weight down to 215-220 lbs I'll be pissed, because that will mean that he wasn't taking things serious at USF and just relied on natural ability with the intent of bailing all along..

  • Think he weighed around 233. He didn't help himself today. Ran 4.72 and a 4.68 (I'm that good ;)), didn't participate in the bench and had I believe a 31.5 inch vert. Don't know the other numbers. I did read he had a quad issue, maybe same one he had last spring... He better get it on at our pro day.

I read on twitter that he had an injury (apparently a quad injury) as was encouraged not to run, but he wanted to display some toughness and run anyways. I cant remember who tweeted it, but whoever did was praising him, and mentioned that even though his time didnt come out well he probably helped himself by showing the toughness.

The official sites had him coming in at 231lbs, and running a 4.75 as the official...not good overall. Injury will not help his cause either. He's not illustrating any impressive athleticism, for a kid with his size, and limited production he needed that official forty to clock in around the low 4.6's to make a difference, and a better vertical too. At this rate he's got fullback athleticism, with no fullback experience.

Wow, if he ran a 4.75 at 231lbs, I wonder what he ran when he was clocking the scales around 245lbs his junior at USF? I am betting that's why we didn't see many breakaway runs from Mr. Scott.

No, and regardless of his weight he was the best RB on our team last year. I love how "facts" change throughout the year to fit whatever argument people want to make.

Seriously?? Murray was and still is our best RB... and second place wasn't close. He has good hands, pass catching ability, speed and passion.

ha ha ha ha...you say "NO" and "REGARDLESS OF HIS WEIGHT"....well you clearly have no idea, he did in deed play at that weight. Hell he weighed in at USF at nearly 250lbs before fall camp. There are independent reports that said during the season he ballooned even higher.

Why don't you get your facts straight before debating. Scott was quite heavy, and Fitch went along with it which was a bad move. He gave Scott got the lionshares of the good carries, and he performed fine, but to say he was the best RB is not fair to Murray. Murray was unfortunate to not get all the good opportunities Scott got...instead used more for 3rd down and late game opportunities because Murray was more versatile.

I am a bit disappointed in Scott. A kid that showed up at USF around 225lbs, got to spring camp at around 230lbs, and camp to fall camp a ballooned 246lbs, and many say jumped over 250lbs during the season. But when it really counts for the NFL combine he managed to get his fat butt down to 230lbs. Thanks for the great effort at USF Scotty boy.
