  • I'm looking forward to the day a recruit says straight up, "They tell me I'm 3-4 on their board". Better yet a coach to say " Well if this guy commits else where and so does this kid and this other kid, you will be our top priority at (insert position)"

    I certainly appreciate the idea of an unrelenting honesty, but I dread that day. I'd rather get good players and win football games.

    Reality shows that if we have 5 "number one" RB's on the board we will be fortunate to sign any one of them. That's not unique to USF either. I don't see this hyperbole hurting anyone.

    We have done close to that, but not until very near signing day.
